Villagegreen

Situated in the picturesque Scottish Highlands close to the Moray Firth is the ideallic Conservation village of Cawdor, home to the Historic Cawdor Castle. Just a short distance from the Castle is Villagegreen, offering a variety of gifts and homewares inspired by country living. We also like to promote local artists and crafts people. Come and enjoy table service in our small relaxed Coffee Shop situated to the rear of our Gift Shop. We offer freshly prepared soups and sandwiches aswell as delicious cakes made by our local French Pattissiere. We have a selection of teas and coffees from Brodies of Edinburgh alongside a variety of Organic beverages. So why not enjoy a winter walk on Cawdor Estate then warm up with a Brodie's Hot Chocolate. Or, if you prefer, in the summer months sit at one of our outdoor tables where you could relax over one of our light lunches and Capaldi's of Brora ice-cream in the Scottish sunshine.

With the cold weather set to continue, I thought I would share my photos of a recent walk in the snow. There are some really lovely walks in Nairnshire and Morayshire, as you can see this was a beautiful day, crisp snow and bright sunshine . Perfect soup and Hot Chocolate weather!
